potty training log:

Okay I started potty training my baby boy on Monday 1-26-09 using the "3 day method" of just being able to watch him really close in underwear and take him to the potty whenever I thought he looked like he needed to go or ask him regularly if he needed to go. So here is what we have accomplished so far.

1/26/09 Monday

8:30- Cayden woke up dry. Peed in potty, put on underwear.

9:30- peed in potty

10:17- peed in underwear. but said uhoh and let me know immediately.

11:30- pooped in his underwear but peed in potty

1:00- laid down for nap w/ pullup.

2:00- woke up dry. sat on potty nothing.

2:10- peed in underwear

3:00- peed in undies on porch.

6:00- peed in undies

9:00- peed in potty

9:30- put on pullup for night time

1/27/09 Tuesday

9:20- woke up dry peed in potty

10:00- pooped in pants but ask to go potty immediately

11:15- peed in pants

12:30- peed in potty Nap w/o pull up

3:30- woke up dry put on potty nothing

5:00- peed in potty

7:00- peed in potty

9:00- peed in potty

1/28/09 Wednesday

9:45- woke up a lil damp in pullup but peed in potty.

10:15- while in highchair peed in pants put him on potty and he POOPED!! YAY!! then peed

12:00- peed in potty.

1:30- nap

3:30- woke up dry

4:00- peed in pants

5:15- peed in tub

7:00- peed in potty before church.

8:30- peed in potty @ church.

10:00- peed in potty.

1/29/09 Thursday

9:30- woke up dry peed in potty

10:00- peed while in high chair.

11:30- peed in potty

12:45- pooped in pants but peed in potty

1:30- nap

3:00- woke up dry but would not potty

3:50- peed in potty

6:30- peed in undies

7:15- peed in undies

9:20- pooped in pants peed in potty

11:30- peed in pants(but had told nanny he needed to potty and she didnt take him in time!)

I think we are doing really well with our potty training. Cayden is a really smart little boy and he is really trying!! :o) Will update more later!

Potty training

Okay we are on our 3rd day of potty training and I am really REALLY scared! I have heard so many horror stories on potty training little boys! Well, our 1st day wasnt real bad and our 2nd day was even better(only 2 accidents) so I am wondering what today will hold! He has been kind of restless this morning but has not really woke up up yet so...I hope he hasnt had an accident! Even tho he is wearing a pullup he has been dry the last 2 mornings! I will post a potty training log when I get a chance. I have been writing it all down on a notebook to keep up w/ how we are doing!! Wish me LUCK! LOL!! :o) He sure does look cute in his big boy undies!

Tori's Birthday!!

This was our 1st year not to have a party for her and she enjoyed this so much more~so she says...LOL! WE really had a great time! WE started off by picking up the girl next door~Katherine then we went to pick up Jamie...off to Cafe Ole we went! My mother in law ended up meeting us there...and was going home afterwards~yeah right...she couldnt stand the suspense..she wanted to see Caydens face when he saw all the horses and bulls etc...Something about a child seeing things for the first time that make you SMILE!!! :o) He has seen horses and such before but never been to a bullriding barrel racing event!! So this was exciting for him!
Tori had a wonderful time and got to see a couple of her friends in the barrel racing event! It was a late night for us b/c it didnt start till 8 and we didnt get out of there till almost 11!! Getting up going to church the next morning was rough..but not as bad as I thought it would be! Then Sunday night Tori started complaining about her throat hurting and she was still sick Monday morning..took her to the dr and she has strep throat! ugh! He is treating her with antibiotics and giving Cayden some for "just in case"! So Tori was out of school Monday and Tuesday..but got to go back today! She has really been on me about not liking public school and as a christian I really understand this! Praying her daddy will eventually change his mind on the church school/homeschooling..not that I am prepared to homeschool but she is really scared to get into the 7th and 8th grade b/c she says the science teacher is an atheist...something I will check into if she does continue to attend public school!!

Tori's Birthday

Tomorrow is my baby girls birthday! She will be 11! This makes me so sad that she is growing up so fast! I can still remember the day I found out I was pregnant with her! My best friend Tammy Howard went and got a pg test for me to take at work! I was soo so SO excited!! :o) as was all my family! Lots of tears of joy were shed that day! More tears of joy were shed the day she made it into the world safe and sound! all 7 lbs 12 and 1/2 oz and 20 1/2 inches of her!
NOW... 11 yrs later we will be celebrating her bday at the RODEO...bull riding and barrel racing! nothing better for the horse lover in her! We have spent the last 10 yrs having birthday parties and decided this year we would do something different! So she has invited 2 friends Kathryn(next door) and Jamie(her bf since K) to go out to eat at her favorite restaraunt CAfe Ole then off to the rodeo we go! Cant wait! I am excited for her! and I know her little brother is going to love it! He loves horses too!
I am so thankful that the Lord entrusted me with such a precious gift! I love her more than words could ever say!! and I know times are going to get rough for her hitting preteen and teen years... but hopefully thru the grace of God we have raised her right and she will make the right decisions in life! I tell her to stand for what is right even if she is the only one! I hope that she will lead a life that will please God! :o)

Getting cold

Well...its really starting to cool off around here!! I hate cold weather...wish it could be spring/fall weather all the time!! Those temps are just right! So as it cools off I have but one thought...stuck inside with 3 children...I say 3 b/c my hubby is as bad as a child when he is stuck inside all the time!! Cayden is not going to like not being able to ride his new tractor!! He loves that thing! Tori had her 1st basketball game of the season this past Saturday! They won 36-22!! YaY!! So at least she has something to occupy her thoughts..LOL! Going to feed the horses this a.m I almost froze...so I am thinking I dont like to feed during the winter...wonder if they would starve if I waited till bout March to feed them again? LOL....JUST KIDDING!!!

Christmas was great!

We had a wonderful Christmas with our families!! It was a good food, fellowship, and presents!! We got Cayden a JohnDeere powerwheels tractor/trailer! He loves it!! and of course he has every size john deere tractor they make now! he got lots of tractors/cars stuff. Toris big thing was her horse but we also got her the cellphone she has been wanting! She really loves it and was really suprised!!She also got her fuzzy northface jacket she wanted, cowboy boots, bearpaw boots!! she really did good! LOL!
Mikal got Sperrys, cologne(i forgot the name of) jeans, etc...He picked most all his own gifts..LOL!(that is a new thing for me b/c I hate for someone to know what they are getting for Christmas..but he is 18 now!
My dear sweet husband gave me Beautiful perfume, 2 pair of boots, and spending money for Christmas sales!! it was great!
Oh...let me not forget that hubby got an Ipod touch that he has barely put down since he got it!! Driving me nuts!! LOL!
all in all we had a wonderful time with our families! Enjoyed watching our children open presents!! God is good!!
Now we are starting out a new year..with lots of hopes for wonderful things to happen!!

when is enough ENUF!

I feel like I am crumbling today! maybe a nervous breakdown or something! LOL! :o) seriously tho...my stress level is so up there this week that it is about to sky rocket! My moms health has been worrying me to death! hopefully we are on the right path with that now...her meds were messed up and they are now treating her for bronchiatic asthma! think her chest pains were from a med she was taking..so hopefully we have that straightened out! Then comes my stepson. I dont even know where to begin with him! I truly love him. I married his daddy when he was only 5! and he really had a messed up childhood! I know that and understand it! BUT he is 18 now and been given countless opportunities!! HE still screws up! what gives? how do you help someone who wont help themselves for more than 4-6 months! and all that time isnt just great..but better than the rest! so on top of those two major things in my life right now...we have a horse w/ rain rot we are trying to treat..and we havent had her long enough for her to trust us..so she is kinda skittish..and its alot of work grooming and caring for her! We feed and take care of horses twice a day! the evening feed usually takes the longest..and that is when I really need to be in getting food for my family! so that runs behind! I love HORSES dont get me wrong..I have just got to get a better schedule going on! I am trying to raise a almost 11 yr old and an almost 2 yr old! THAT in itself will wear you OUT! I am trying to work from home for a lady I use to work for..so that I can make some extra money especially this time of year! JUst got alot going on!! :o)
okay...enough is enuf for today! I am thru throwing my pity party! LOL!
