when is enough ENUF!

I feel like I am crumbling today! maybe a nervous breakdown or something! LOL! :o) seriously tho...my stress level is so up there this week that it is about to sky rocket! My moms health has been worrying me to death! hopefully we are on the right path with that now...her meds were messed up and they are now treating her for bronchiatic asthma! think her chest pains were from a med she was taking..so hopefully we have that straightened out! Then comes my stepson. I dont even know where to begin with him! I truly love him. I married his daddy when he was only 5! and he really had a messed up childhood! I know that and understand it! BUT he is 18 now and been given countless opportunities!! HE still screws up! what gives? how do you help someone who wont help themselves for more than 4-6 months! and all that time isnt just great..but better than the rest! so on top of those two major things in my life right now...we have a horse w/ rain rot we are trying to treat..and we havent had her long enough for her to trust us..so she is kinda skittish..and its alot of work grooming and caring for her! We feed and take care of horses twice a day! the evening feed usually takes the longest..and that is when I really need to be in getting food for my family! so that runs behind! I love HORSES dont get me wrong..I have just got to get a better schedule going on! I am trying to raise a almost 11 yr old and an almost 2 yr old! THAT in itself will wear you OUT! I am trying to work from home for a lady I use to work for..so that I can make some extra money especially this time of year! JUst got alot going on!! :o)
okay...enough is enuf for today! I am thru throwing my pity party! LOL!

We got her!

Well I have been extremely busy since we got dd's horse! Its sad to say that some people are not up front and honest about things...but something is going on with this filly. Things we did not know just by looking at her~ She has rain rot! which is a fungus they get from being exposed to a heavy rainfall w/o any protection!grrrr...makes me so mad! it has been the devil to treat with it so cold outside...hate having to get her wet! The man said she was 5 months old...well, when I looked at the coggins he had pulled on her...it said she was 4 months at the end of JUNE! so that doesnt add up either! another thing...she is terribly head shy..makes me think she wasnt treated to well! but at the end of the day when all the working with her is done..I am glad we have her...she WILL NOT be mistreated again...and she is a sweet horse that we will love!! :o) will attach a pic of our new baby! :o)

New Horse

So excited we got our little girl her very own horse!! She is so in love with it! Hope all goes well with it! She is a young filly that my daughter will be able to raise on her own..so she will be use to it! Now if we can just get our saddlehorse to accept her so that he will stop trying to bite her! :o(

Dont understand why its so wrong not to celebrate Halloween?

I do NOT do halloween. I believe the bible teaches us to obstain from evil...how evil is Halloween? google it and find out where it originated! I can not stand by and tell my kids its all in fun when its really a celebration night for the devil! I will not apologize for my beliefs or how I am raising my children. I hate it that it bothers some people so bad that I do not allow my kids to dress up and run around getting candy w/ a bunch of wickedness going on. I hate that I have to explain to family members the WRONG in halloween..when it should be apparent in the decorations used! I mean really do you think skeletons, devils, spiders, etc is something that you want to use to make kids feel GOOD? I am just tired of being the odd ball out when it comes to standing up for what is right for my kids! but that is okay b/c the bible tells us that the Lord wants his children to be seperate from the world! Oh and not to mention what he says about witches and witchcraft... so I have no desire to expose my children to this! I am doing what I feel is right in Gods eyes not peoples.
No we do NOT carve a pumpkin b/c we have no spirits we need to hide from! No we do not dressup and go trickortreating or do halloween parties...that would be saying its okay! HOWEVER....we do have a function at our church that is fun for kids that occurs around the last wkend of October. It is not to take the place of halloween but to give our kids something to do. It is a FALL celebration not a Halloween celebration! we have a chili/cake contest..we let the kids dress up as bible characters ONLY and we get to make a game out of it guessing who they are! and we do have a hayride! nothing haunted about it~If you want to THINK we are still celebrating halloween, that is your choice. We do not mention any hauntings or scary things..and we are not up to any mischief~which is what halloween is all about! I am just discouraged by people especially "christians" who think we should just give in and go with the flow of what everyone else is doing..its not doing any harm? how do you know this? I would rather be safe than sorry..and my bible still says to obstain from ANY APPEARANCE OF EVIL!
Oh...and the mean momma that I am ...we dont do Santa either! but that is for another post!

Dont know where to begin..

Its late but I have been putting this off and putting this off...so I went on and signed up for blogging...dont know much about it but thought it would be a cool way for familyand friends to keep up with what is going on w/ us!! I am entering this as a test of sorts...just to see how it all comes out. I will start stories on our crazy family later...when Im not so tired! :o)
